How do I list my item for rent?
Tap the yellow “plus” icon, upload photos, set a daily price, and add a short description or instructions. Set up your Stripe account to get paid. Once approved, your item will appear in the marketplace.
What can not be listed for rent?
Personal-use hygiene products, worn footwear, cars and personal vehicles, RVs and motorhomes, weapons, illegal goods, explosives and fireworks, illegal drugs, alcohol, tobacco and nicotine products, live animals, counterfeit or stolen goods, hazardous materials, prescription or controlled products, and items that are unsafe or unsuitable for rental. Possession may also remove or restrict any item that presents a safety, legal, insurance, or liability risk.
How much can I earn?
Earnings depend on demand, item type, and rental price. Owners earn from the rental fee after service fees.

Our founder previously worked with Kettera, a local startup focused on creating a decision-making platform that helps find the best fit between talent and opportunities while reducing irrelevant bias. That experience shaped how he thought about Possession. When renting an item, personal information about the owner often has nothing to do with whether the item is right for you. Our mission is to provide access to possibilities, so we focus on what matters for the rental: the item, its condition, availability, price, and the information needed to rent it safely. As long as both parties have a good experience and the item is returned in the agreed condition, that's what matters.
