Terms & Conditions for Beta 1.5

By joining the Possession Beta 1.5 program, you agree to follow these terms and rules. This version of Possession is still being worked on, so things might change, break, or be temporarily unavailable without warning.

Purpose of Beta 1.5

Beta 1.5 is for testing and feedback. You’ll get early access to new features and special privileges, but keep in mind that some parts may be incomplete or unstable.

Reporting Issues

If anything goes wrong, please report it. Your feedback helps us improve the final version.

Item Recovery & Compensation Policy

If any of your items are lost, damaged, or stolen due to a bug, misuse, or another user’s actions during the beta, we will investigate the situation. If the investigation confirms that the issue was genuine and not caused by your own rule-breaking or neglect, you will receive 100% compensation or recovery of the item’s value. Restorations or payments happen only if the investigation result is in your favour.

Trust, Fair Play & Legal Action

We trust all Beta 1.5 users to act honestly and help improve the product. However, there is zero tolerance for cheating, exploiting, fraud, or any dishonest behavior. Anyone who intentionally damages, steals, or exploits the system or another user’s items may be removed from the beta and lose all privileges. Further legal action may be taken if serious violations occur.

Rental Cancellation

At this time, rentals cannot be cancelled once a request has been made. Please ensure you are fully committed before submitting your rental request. This policy will change in the future, but for now, it helps us keep everything running smoothly.

Handover and Return

Agree on a pickup time with the owner using the app.

Decide the pickup location so the delivery driver can arrive at the correct location.
Item pick-up happens at the agreed time, and the designated delivery driver will pick up the item.
Item drop-off happens when the renter is done with the item, and the delivery driver will then pick it up from the renter at the agreed time and location.

Returning the item happens at the agreed time and location, usually in the evening of the last rental day.

Follow the agreement to avoid late fees. Late returns must cover the additional rental period unless arranged otherwise.

By using Beta 1.5 you agree to these terms and understand that it’s still a work in progress.
