How do I rent an item?
Search for the item you need, request it, and once the owner approves, arrange delivery through Possession.
How do I pay for rentals?
Payments are made securely in the app using Stripe. Your payment is released to the owner only when the rental period begins.
What if the item I rented breaks or gets lost?
Report the issue through Possession immediately. You may be responsible for repair or replacement costs. Some items may also be covered under Possession’s protection policy. For beta 1.5 users check our Beta 1.5 terms.
Can I cancel a rental?
Yes, but only at least 2 hours before your agreed rental time. Urgent delivery rentals cannot be canceled. Refunds take 3–5 business days. For beta 1.5 users check our Beta 1.5 terms.
How do I arrange handover and return?
Agree on a pickup time with the owner using the app.
Default pickup location is included in the booking unless you both agree on another spot.
Returning the item happens at the agreed time and location, usually in the evening of the last rental day.
Follow the agreement to avoid late fees. Late returns must cover the additional rental period unless arranged otherwise.
